Local Artist Honored

Westerville AAUW Member Honored

Ann B. Wildman, a long time Westerville resident was honored by the (national) American Association of University Women by having her art work entitled “Ann’s Happiness” selected to be on their 2012 New Year’s card. Ann began her art career cutting silhouettes and transitioned to the old German folk art of paper cutting called scherenschnitte, as exemplified by the art work that was selected for the card.
She is a life member of the Westerville branch. She graduated from DePauw University. Her mother was also a life time member of the Westerville branch.
