March 2022 Meeting

The March meeting will be held via ZOOM on the second Thursday of this month. Zoom is a free app that you will need to download to your computer before the first meeting. On the day of the meeting you will get an e-mail with a meeting ID number and a passcode to enter into the Zoom app. When you are accepted into the meeting click on join with audio to hear speakers.

The program is about trafficking. Our speaker is Ruth Downing. She is a member of the MSN R Development and Forensic Nursing Network, Inc. She has an extensive background in working with trafficked victims. Please invite others to this meeting. It is information that we all need.

In February, our speaker from the Columbus Foundation was Alicia Szempruch. She shared information about the Vanguard Investment Fund that is currently used to grow our Scholarship Fund. After her presentation, it was decided that the Finance Committee, made up of the president, vice presidents of programs, the treasurer and scholarship chair, would look into the possibility of changing how our investment is allocated. The committee will present their recommendations as part of the business meeting following the program for a vote.
